Do you know Lab4Tech ?

I recently wrote articles about the BNF, which was immensely beneficial to my career and Syni programs. The BNF program significantly enhanced my project management skills, expanded my professional network beyond academia, and helped me secure my first job after my academic studies. The Syni program came to my attention through a friend, several of her colleagues found employment through it. Continuing this trend, I'm happy to introduce another valuable initiative, Lab4tech, which I learned about through a friend who holds a PhD in Life Sciences. After being unemployed, she was advised by her career consultant at the regional employment center (RAV) to explore Lab4tech.

Lab4Tech offers placement services mandated by the General Directorate for Employment and Labor Market (DGEM) of the Canton of Vaud, focusing on two main programs: complementary assessments for IT professionals and practical internships.

• Complementary Assessments for IT Professionals:

• This program includes four sessions over a month and a workshop on job search techniques.

• It is designed to assist job seekers in conducting self-assessments to define and refine their career goals to meet market demands.

• A detailed report is provided to the participant’s advisor, highlighting their market positioning, potential opportunities and risks, and strategic career recommendations for the short, medium, and long term.

• Practical Internships for IT Professionals:

• Targeted at those who need to enhance their practical skills or gain experience in their field.

• Involves engaging in practical labs or projects aimed at boosting employability.

Lab4tech is suited to help a range of IT professionals including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Database Administrators, Network Administrators, System Administrators, IS Architects, Business Analysts, Business Intelligence analysts, Project Managers, Developers, Help Desk Support, and many more.
